Description

The "Flip" was developed in cooperation with Solid State Organ Systems. We chose a compact housing for the usual DIN rail especially for mounting in consoles.

Practical spring-loaded plugs allow you to connect pistons in the pedalboard or pressure bars under the keyboard to trigger the flipping of digital sheet music on tablets or iPads via Bluetooth.

Linking with devices

Of all the solutions on the market, Flip is the easiest to connect to organists' devices. To avoid interference, Flip only connects to one device at a time and pairs to the first device it has previously been paired with when the organ is switched on.

If you want to force Flip to connect to another device, go to your Bluetooth settings and select the option to disconnect. On Android, you can temporarily disconnect by tapping the device name in the list. On Apple devices, this is done by selecting "Forget this device".

If you want to have two devices permanently connected to the organ, you can wire a second Flip with different identifiers to the same Piston in parallel. To pair with the Flip, open your Bluetooth settings and search for "SSOS Flip" in the list of discoverable devices. Once the Flip is paired, a blue LED on the Flip box will light up and an icon will appear on your tablet.

Compatibility

Flip is compatible with popular digital sheet music apps that support page turning via Bluetooth, including: ForScore, Orpheus, MobileSheets and PiaScore.
